2. Nature of Our Services

Skybound Bridge is an advisory and introduction service for aspiring and licensed pilots. We help candidates compare EASA flight training pathways and we introduce them to EASA Approved Training Organisations (ATOs), Declared Training Organisations (DTOs), aero clubs and flight instructors.

We are not a flight school. We do not provide flight or theoretical training, we do not operate aircraft, we do not issue or validate pilot licences, medical certificates or ratings, and we do not act as a regulator or on behalf of any regulator.

Our advice is informational. It does not replace advice from an ATO, an aviation medical examiner, an aviation authority, a lawyer, a tax adviser or a financial adviser.

3. How We Are Paid

We believe you should know who pays us before you take our advice.

3.1. Our advisory and matching service is free of charge to the candidate. You pay us nothing for being matched with a flight school.

3.2. We are paid by the partner flight school when a candidate we introduced enrols and pays a deposit. Depending on the school and the programme, this is either a percentage of the course fee or a fixed amount per enrolled student.

3.3. Our commission is deliberately structured so that it does not rise proportionally with the price of the course: above a certain course value our percentage steps down, and on lower-cost programmes a minimum applies. Recommending a more expensive school is not proportionally more profitable for us.

3.4. This commission is paid out of the school's own marketing and acquisition budget. It does not increase the price you pay to the school. You pay the school the same price whether you come through us or approach the school directly.

3.5. We are not owned by, controlled by, or exclusively tied to any flight school, and we do not accept exclusivity arrangements. We remain free to recommend schools with which we have no commercial relationship, and we do so where they are the better fit for the candidate.

3.6. Some of our services are paid for directly by the client rather than by a school. Where that is the case — for example a paid contract or training-plan review, or an aviation concierge booking — the price is stated to you in writing before you commit, and no work begins before you agree to it.

3.7. Aviation concierge (visiting pilots). Where we arrange a flight with a local aero club or flight school, we may receive both a service fee from you and a commission from the club. Where this applies, both amounts are disclosed to you in writing in the offer before you pay.

3.8. We do not receive payment in exchange for withholding information about a school, and we do not accept payment to place a school higher in any comparison or ranking.

4. Your Relationship with Flight Schools and Clubs

4.1. Any contract for training, aircraft rental, instruction or any other service is concluded strictly between you and the school, club or instructor. Skybound Bridge is not a party to that contract.

4.2. We are not liable for: financial losses; training delays of any cause, including weather, aircraft unavailability, instructor shortages, examiner availability or airspace restrictions; insolvency, bankruptcy or closure of a school or club; changes to a school's pricing, curriculum, fleet or staff; the quality or safety of any training or flight; loss of deposits; or any dispute between you and a school.

4.3. Before signing anything or paying any deposit, you are responsible for reading the school's own contract, verifying its current prices and terms directly with the school, and satisfying yourself as to its suitability. Information we provide about schools — including prices, durations and fleet data — is collected from public and third-party sources, may be out of date, and is provided for orientation only.

4.4. Concierge flights. Where we arrange a flight for a visiting pilot, the flight is conducted by the local operator under its own approvals and insurance, with a certified instructor acting as pilot in command (PIC) unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Skybound Bridge is an organiser and introducer, not an air operator. Operational and safety responsibility rests entirely with the operator and the instructor.

5. No Guarantees of Outcome

We do not guarantee: admission to or enrolment in any school; that you will pass the EASA Class 1 or Class 2 medical examination; that you will pass any theoretical or practical examination; that you will obtain any licence or rating; that you will obtain a visa, residence permit or right to work in any country; or that you will be employed by any airline or operator.

Any figures we publish regarding potential cost savings, training durations, salaries or employment outcomes are estimates based on market data, not promises, and individual results vary.

6. Your Responsibilities

6.1. Accuracy. You agree to provide accurate and complete information. Our recommendations are only as good as the information you give us, and a school may reject a candidate whose declared profile does not match reality.

6.2. Funding. You are solely responsible for financing your training, accommodation and living costs. By declaring a budget, you confirm that you can evidence those funds — for example by bank statement — where a school or an immigration authority requires it.

6.3. Eligibility. You are responsible for confirming your own eligibility to study, reside and, where relevant, work in the country concerned.

6.4. Age. Our services are available to persons aged 16 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16, and if we learn that we have, we delete it.

We have set this threshold at 16 because it matches how flight training actually begins: under EASA rules a student may fly solo from 16 and hold a PPL(A) from 17. A candidate of 16 or 17 is a candidate at the right age, not a candidate who came too early.

Note that a flight school will normally require a parent or legal guardian to sign the training contract itself where the student is under 18. That is a matter between you and the school; we will raise it with you before we introduce you.

7. Intellectual Property

All content we publish — including comparisons, checklists, price matrices, guides and analyses — remains our property or that of our licensors. You may use it for your own personal decision-making. You may not republish, resell or redistribute it commercially without our written permission.

8. Acceptance of These Terms

You accept these Terms when you submit any of our forms, request a consultation, or otherwise use our services. If you do not accept them, please do not submit a form or use the service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you use the service, and the "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected in that date.

10. Governing Law and Disputes

10.1. These Terms are governed by Polish law.

10.2. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer-law provisions of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. We will bring any claim against a consumer only in the courts of the consumer's country of residence.

10.3. For clients who are not consumers, the competent courts are those of Warsaw, Poland.

10.4. We would prefer to resolve any complaint directly. Please write to info@skyboundbridge.com first — we aim to respond within three working days.
